Our History

Originally built in 1884 as a roller rink known shortly after as the Academy of Music, A venue for musical and theatrical events which held up to 1200 people, this historic building has been Home to many since including the 25th separate national guard, independent order of odd fellows, the city of tonawanda and the American legion.

As 2025 brings about the year in which the iconic Erie Canal will celebrate its 200th anniversary we at North House steps away, through extensive renovation are bringing back to life this beautiful building set to find its original roots yet again as a magnificent event venue for any memorable occasion.
